The Joker in life is your unlikely candidate to be stupid or silly when it comes to relations. The Joker is the person that walks in a straight line and always tries to stay on that line without falling off.
The Joker is the person that works extremely hard for everything they have. They have been through a lot and have come out the other end and are thankful to God for being alive.
The joker is the person at school that was picked on because they didn’t fit into society’s idea of perfect or, as commonly known, “Buff.” They were picked on because they were different. The Joker is the one who sometimes had their hand up in class. Every now and then, the teacher would pick them to answer the question. All the other kids pointed and laughed at them. The Joker was also the person that participated in all activities within school including sports; they weren’t the best, but close to because of their dedication and commitment. The Joker is also the person the teachers respected but also took the piss out of because they always knew; they would take responsibility for everyone else. The Joker is the person that achieved the highest in school and was labelled the geek.
The Joker is the person that had the normal life at home with their family. No matter what happened out there in the world, they always felt safe at home because the love at home always kept them grounded and focused. The Joker was always perfect to mummy because she said, “You’re beautiful, baby. Don’t listen to what others say.” The Joker is the person that looked at LOVE as something you can touch and feel. The Joker at a young age looked at a happy couple and said, I would like to be like that one day. The Joker was naive in their 20s and maybe still is.
The Joker is now in their late 20s and still wondering why they feel like this straight line or straight path isn’t so straight? The Joker is still wondering why they can’t touch love or feel it? The Joker is still wondering why school playground nonsense is still in the grown-up world? Why are women acting like girls and why are men acting like boys? The Joker is wondering, do things ever actually change? Do they or do we mature?
And if we do, when does it happen? The Joker is still wondering why they are going home to an empty bed at night? They are wondering why they are answering their phone at 1am in the morning? Why their doors are opening late? They are wondering why they fell for the line and opened their legs or dropped their trousers? The Joker has a heart; they feel pain and anger. They are frustrated because they don’t understand.
The Joker is the person that enjoys walking and climbing that biggest mountain that any other person would look at and say, “Hell no, I am not doing that.” They would try and try again. Remember, the Joker till this day is still climbing that mountain. The Joker never gives up because they don’t know how to. The Joker does not ever take the short cut to the top of the mountain They don’t tackle it straight ahead and they don’t tackle it head on, but they take their time and walk around it. Not in a straight line because it is not possible. The problems and issues they face is what makes them who they are.
The Joker is the invisible person at the back of the line. They don’t make noise because they are happy with who and what they are. They are here to teach others about passion, commitment, joy, dedication and about life.
The Joker can be me or you. You decide what you are. But, I would rather be a Joker than the one that knows it all without living life.
Who is laughing now?
