One of the most talked‑about African weddings of the year was the glamorous union between Nigerian TV personality and fashionista Stephanie Coker and her sweetheart, Nigerian millionaire Olumide Aderinokun. Their traditional marriage, held on 30th December 2016, was a breathtaking celebration of culture, elegance, and luxury — with no expense spared.

Raised in the UK, Stephanie returned to Nigeria to pursue her career as a TV presenter, where she quickly became a beloved media figure. With her British upbringing and polished English accent, she effortlessly bridged cultural worlds, winning the admiration of audiences across Nigeria.

At just 28, Stephanie had already carved an impressive path. A graduate of Brunel University with a degree in Media Communications, she first stepped into the public eye after winning the MTV Freederm Presenter Competition, which placed her face on screens across London. Since then, she has worked on numerous high‑profile projects, particularly with MTV Base Africa, solidifying her status as one of the continent’s rising media stars.

We especially admire Stephanie’s commitment to showcasing Africa in a positive light — a passion that earned her recognition as a future power leader by both Deloitte and Google.

Her husband, Olumide Aderinokun, may be more private, but he is equally accomplished. A successful property tycoon and the brother of GTBank Co‑Founder Tayo Aderinokun, Olumide is widely respected in business circles.
